Make your own cookie mix mason jars! We've made it easy by creating the perfect recipe for use with our Mini Mason Jars. Feel free to change up the ingredients a bit, the ones we show are just suggestions (exchange mini chocolate chips for colored M&M's). These Recipe Tags give simple directions for guests to use as long as you use similar ingredients in the suggested proportions, this recipe is sure to please! Recipe was exclusively created by local baker and artist Sugar Therapy (blog only!) and has been tested to bake the yummiest little morsels of perfection for your guests. Please note that Personalized Mini Mason Jars are sold separately, this product is for Recipe Tags ONLY that will provide instructions on how to prepare and bake the cookies. Choose from 14 different color options. Size: 2" x 2". Tag Color Options Suggested Recipe for filling in the Jars:
1/4 cup flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
pinch of salt
2 tbsp packed brown sugar
1 tbsp sugar
1 1/2 -2 tbsp oats
3 heaping tbsp mini chocolate chips
Combine flour, baking soda and salt, then layer in jar in the order listed.
On the Recipe Tag:
Yield: 4 Mini Cookies
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine 2 tbsp. butter, 1/4 tsp vanilla, and 1 egg yolk. Stir all ingredients into the dry mix until evenly combined. Form four small balls of dough and place at least 1-2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Bake for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown. Note: Tags are un-punched.
